The entire Telangana Police Department is working hard to make Hyderabad the safest city in the Country

The crime rate is the number of reported criminal incidents per million people in a given year.

After Kolkata and Pune, Hyderabad is the third safest metro city in the country, according to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). Hyderabad continues to remain as a safest city because of a series of initiatives taken up by the State government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in effectively maintaining law and order in the State since the formation of Telangana in 2014.
