KTR backs Jagadish’s Rs 18K crore challenge to BJP

Hyderabad : As the campaign for Munugode by-poll peaks, TRS working president and minister K T Rama Rao dared BJP candidate Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy to give away his alleged contracts worth ₹18,000 crore. He also demanded he agree to an inquiry by a sitting Supreme Court judge if he has not got a contract as part of a quid pro quo arrangement.

KTR alleged that Raj Gopal has been giving different versions regarding getting contracts from the Centre forhis infrastructure firm. “Swear at Bhagya Laxmi temple at Charminar or Yadadri temple about your statement that contracts had nothing to do with joining the BJP and forcing the Munugode by-poll,” KTR said, while addressing Telangana Rashtra Samithi student wing (TRSV) meeting at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday.

“While one brother joined the BJP, another brotherleft for Australia and will come back after the by-election,” KTR said.
He asked the youth to highlight the reasons for the Munugode election that was forced on the people owing to the BJP candidate’s greed for money.

“On Monday, minister G Jagadish Reddy said if the Centre releases 18,000 crore to Nalgonda — allegedly given in contracts to Raj Gopal Reddy — the party would withdraw from the contest in the by-polls. The party will stand by the assurance given by Jagadish Reddy and am assuring that as working president of the party,” KTR said, adding that TRS has 105 MLAs, and one MLA would not make any difference.
